The character she played, Ashley Magnus, was made up of the show's first and second seasons. Her departure remained a topic of debate between fans, with many who wanted her to the show in subsequent episodes until the show was cancelled in 2012. In 2016, Ullerup was cast as Bree O'Brien in Chesapeake Shores. Ullerup appeared as Maggie Thomas, the estranged spouse of Michael Thomas, in the disaster movie Asteroid: Final Impact (2015). Ullerup regularly appears in the role of Dale Travers, in the Hallmark Signed, Sealed, Delivered movie series, since the year 2016.
