Kellie Martin, she is an American actress and film director most well-known for her role for her role as Christy Huddleston on the period drama "Christy", Rebecca Thatcher on the family drama Life Goes On> and Lucy Knight for the medical drama ER. She is also known for playing the title role in the 'Hailey Dean Mystery' series. Martin began her acting career at the age of was just seven. She was a niece of her aunt who was the nanny of actor Michael Landon's children, was a big help in landing her an unimportant role in the TV show Father Murphy. Following her graduation from Yale University in 1982, Martin took her acting career more serious. She was able to land important roles on TV as well as on the big screen. Martin has also been a photographer and a dancer. As a mother to two kids, she has become the official spokesperson of national for Lupus. Martin has actively promoted the disease since her younger sister died in the age of 19.
